There is a lot to love about GloFX’s Heart Kaleidoscope glasses! They’re eye-catching, stylish, and add a whole other dimension to your experience… we could go on and on about these lovely accessories and all the reasons you should fall for them.
More than this, however, your heart can grow 3 times in size with each pair you buy, knowing that this is money well spent – and donated.
In an ongoing effort to spread the love and give back, GloFX has developed a partnership with The Children’s Heart Foundation. A big part of this partnership is that a portion of the proceeds made from each Heart Kaleidoscope glasses sold is donated to the foundation.
The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF) was founded and incorporated in Illinois in June of 1996, by Betsy and Steve Peterson, after the premature death of their son, Sam. Sam was born with congenital heart defects and passed away at the ripe age of 8 from these complications. Sam’s incredible strength and his love of life made a lasting impression on those around him, and inspired his parents to start CHF, knowing that research and resources would help to save the lives of children just like Sam.
Over the course of the last 22 years, CHF has funded a total of 99 research projects, worth over $10.6 million. They are the country’s leading organization in CHD-focused research, and have made great strides in the medical field concerning the research, diagnoses, and treatment of congenital heart defects.
Over 40,000 babies are born each year in the United States with these heart defects – over 1,000,000 worldwide – and the resources and dedication provided by The Children’s Heart Foundation are truly saving the lives of thousands of children.
Given the huge impact that CHF has on the medical world and the lives of children and their families, GloFX is extremely proud to be able to partner with and donate to this incredible organization. Our Heart Kaleidoscope glasses are a popular GloFX product, and we feel warm and fuzzy knowing that these aren’t just serving as a great festival accessory but as a part of curbing a worldwide epidemic.
Since the launch of these glasses last year we’ve sold over 1,700 pairs and look forward to growing this number each year. We like to think that we are helping to save children’s lives… one Heart Kaleidoscope at a time.
