In early 2016, GloFX was nominated as a candidate for the Grow Florida (GrowFL) Top Companies to watch award. Today, GloFX is proud to announce that they have made it to the final round of GrowFL’s “Florida’s Companies to Watch” competition! GrowFL was created in 2009 by the Florida Legislature as an economic development program, focused on assisting second-stage growth companies prosper in the state of Florida. Their mission is to provide strategies, resources, and support to second-stage companies for next level growth as well as highlight rockstar entrepreneurs. GloFX is honored to have been chosen because of their ground-breaking achievements in the dimensional, rave, and party eyewear industry. Below is the Nominee write up.

“GloFX prides itself on the fact that the company has seen extremely fast and high revenue growth since 2009. Going into GloFX’s 5th (official) year of business, it is still growing at an amazing rate, with website traffic being up 100% year-over for 5 years in a row. With a dedicated customer service staff that is oriented around meeting all of our customers needs, there is no question as to why GloFX has grown so quickly in such a short amount of time. GloFX has been a force in entrepreneurial leadership, using technology to enhance the traditional sunglasses industry into diffraction glasses, which has become an entire industry on it’s own.
GloFX is not only concerned with the bottom line. Civic and community involvement is something that is taken very seriously within the company. GloFX has given back to the community in a number of ways, including a scholarship for students and an internship program endorsed and recognized by the Florida State University that students can participate in to receive valuable experience and college credit. With 100% employee growth in just the last year, GloFX has earned a reputation as being a great place to work in the North Florida/South Georgia area.
GloFX treats environmental consciousness as a top priority. The use of recyclable materials as well as maintaining a non-print, all digital catalog, are just two of many practices that help GloFX keep its carbon footprint at sustainable levels.
