GloFX Ultimate Black Diffraction Glasses

GloFx Ultimate Black Diffraction Glasses

We are always trying to improve our products, so we frequently ask our customers for feedback.  Here is what one GloFX customer, Dave, had to say about our Ultimate Black Diffraction Glasses.

Honestly, when I first heard the words “high-quality” and “diffraction glasses” in the same sentence, I was more than skeptical.  All of the rainbow diffraction glasses that I had come in contact prior to the pair mentioned in this article have always been made of cheap plastic, and they weren’t really even something that I thought could be high-quality.  Until now, the only diffraction glasses I was familiar with were akin to the cheap plastic 3D glasses of yesteryear.

When I received my GloFX Ultimate Blacks in the mail I realized that all of my pre-conceived notions of what diffraction glasses were had just been thrown out the window.  These glasses were more akin to something you would buy off the shelf in a designer store than paper glasses.  The frames of these glasses were made out of flexible PVC plastic, and can definitely take some abuse.  GloFX even goes as far to state that the frame is indestructible, and while I wouldn’t go this far, I would say they are pretty close.

The diffraction effect itself was much more clear than any other brand diffraction glasses I have previously worn.  When I wore them to a local rave this last weekend, the image remained crisp, while still being broken down into it’s fundamental colors.

Of course, all of this comes at a cost.  While The Ultimate Blacks won’t break the bank they aren’t exactly cheap either, costing $15.99 retail.  Most other diffraction glasses I’ve seen have been in the $1 to $5 range, but like I said, GloFX’s are MUCH more durable.  This is definitely a “you get what you pay for” scenario.

All-in-all, I would definitely recommend GloFX’s Ultimate Blacks to anyone who is willing to spend a little bit extra on their rave experience.  As long as you take care of these glasses and don’t lose them, they should definitely last you through as many raves or festivals as you could possibly attend. Next on my list to try: GloFX Kaleidoscope Glasses.
