Each year, GloFX provides an opportunity for students to receive financial aid through its scholarship program. GloFX endorses the pursuit of knowledge to its highest degree, and we aim to show our devotion to education by alleviating some of the weight of academic tuition.
Innovation, critical thinking, creativity, and constant improvement are core values at GloFX. This mentality encourages critical thinking, creativity, and being conscious of our impacts on the industry and the world. This mentality is what drives our continued growth and success, and are what we hope to see in students and individuals who are on their own journeys to achieve great things. GloFX has created this scholarship to aid in that journey.
The 2018 GloFX scholarship prompt asked applicants to submit an essay, Powerpoint presentation, PDF, video or other creative measures to answer the question: How do you feel that technology is impacting the growth of music and art, either positively, negatively, or both?
We asked applicants to dig deeper, and wanted their submissions to be well-developed, individual thoughts. Submissions were judged on quality, originality, and creativity. We received a huge number of submissions this year! We were so impressed by the diversity of ideas and the different types of projects that were submitted.
After reviewing each submission, we chose the winner of the 2018 GloFX College Scholarship: Ilya Pivararuk. Ilya is currently studying engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He created an infographic that outlined both the positive and negative impacts of technology on music and art. Congratulations and best of luck, Ilya!
