Forbes has once again released their annual list of the world’s top-earning DJs. Some of the names on the list might surprise you, and other names are definitely to be expected. Calvin Harris once again topped the list with an impressive $63 million in earnings. Interestingly, Harris performs at EDM festivals the least out of the bunch, with most of his earnings coming from Vegas nightclub residencies.
Next on the list are Tiesto and David Guetta, pulling in a $38 and $28 million respectively. Diplo edged out Jack U‘s partner Skrillex by just $3 million. Diplo’s rise onto this list over the last couple of years is fairly impressive considering that 10 years ago he was literally playing college house parties for free. Avicii managed to bring in a cool $14 million, not bad for a DJ who is “retired”. Did your favorite DJ make this list? Let us know in the comments section!
