GloFX Shipping Specialist

 About the Job: 

The Shipping Specialist will play a vital role in the Back of House functions and order fulfillment for GloFX. This individual will work closely and directly under the Back of House Manager and the Head of Shipping to ensure that all orders and packages leave our facility in a timely and efficient manner. This role will include the overall organization of daily shipments, planning and processing of shipping labels, packing slips, and invoices.  

 You will also be responsible for ensuring that all orders are paid for and properly entered into our database and tracking software, as well as mastering our shipping software and learning new shipping technologies as they are implemented.  You will then pull and pack all orders systematically and with incredible attention to detail. Our Shipping Specialist must have neat handwriting and the ability to create a very professional package. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring that all orders leave our facility in a timely manner and meet deadlines, and expected delivery times. This job may entail high stress situations and require problem solving and efficiently handling work overloads.  

Job Duties:  

  • Communicating with our Customer Relations and Production Teams to process incoming orders and prepare products for shipment 
  • Assist Head of Shipping with all department duties 
  • Organize orders and prepare packages for shipment  
  • Create and print labels 
  • Enter data and information into shipping software 
  • Learn shipping rates, services, and times  
  • Assist in processing and packaging Wholesale orders for fulfillment  
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with correct and complete order fulfillment and timely shipping
