ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking to hire a high-tempo Production Specialist to work with our amazingly talented production team. This tight-knit 5 to 8-person department requires a team-oriented individual with a mind for quality, efficiency, and speed. Production Specialists are responsible for the expert assembly, packaging, and packing of our world-class product lines. Our specialists have the unique ability to maintain top-notch speeds and output levels while simultaneously upholding the highest standards of quality possible. Working closely with the Production Supervisors and Fulfillment Coordinator, a Specialist assists with the department’s key functions and works to maintain the awesome culture of teamwork, speed, quality, and efficiency we have here at GloFX. They easily master new skills, work well with others, and thrive under high-pressure situations. The candidate for this position must be an incredibly fast worker and very well organized. Many products require hand strength and very close attention to detail. This position may require tedious repetition and labor-intensive tasks. We base our production on two core values: Quality & Speed.
Job Duties:
• Assemble & Package a large variety of products at lightning-fast speeds.
• Executing, and enforcing strict quality inspection processes.
• Setup and organization of most daily workflows and initiatives.
• Pick, place, and organize inventory for both small and large production projects.
• Creating & accurately processing shipments destined for Amazon fulfillment centers.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with other members of the Production and Shipping Departments to convey statuses, updates, or issues.
• Maintain target defect rates and production volumes.
• Assisting production leadership with the constant improvement of the organization, workflows, and systems in the production department.
• Assist with the monthly inventory organization and counting processes.
Required Skills:
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Proficient use of a computer and experience with Google/Microsoft applications
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50lb with ease
• Self-starter, able to succeed in a fluid and fast-paced work environment
• Excellent communication and response times
